To Be Checked
In the construction industry, a “muckaway” refers to the removal of soil and inert waste materials from a site using a Tipper or Grab Lorry. This service is essential for maintaining a clean and efficient worksite. “Muck” includes inert waste such as soil, sand, stone, clay, and similar materials. It does not cover general waste like wood or household rubbish.
We charge per load or per trip, rather than by tonnage. This means whether you have a few tonnes or a full 16-tonne load, the price remains the same. Prices vary based on the type of material and the postcode group of the location.
We accept most types of inert waste but have specific guidelines regarding roots and turf:
Ensure that the loading area is clear and accessible, confirm the type of waste being removed is as described, and check for any local restrictions that might affect the collection process.
Customers are required to confirm that the waste does not include general waste, hazardous materials, or more than 10% turf or grass. Confirming this helps avoid complications during the waste collection and processing stages.
